Comprehensive Management of Endometriosis / Endometriomas (Chocolate Cysts)
Endometriosis is a chronic condition that is highly prone to recurrence with the menstrual cycle. We emphasise a "long-term management" treatment philosophy. Our medical team will tailor the most appropriate long-term management plan based on the patient's age, pain severity, and future family planning. This plan typically integrates targeted hormonal therapies (such as oral progestogens or contraceptive pills) to suppress lesion growth, appropriate minimally invasive surgery to excise cysts when necessary, and long-term postoperative ultrasound monitoring. Our ultimate goal is to effectively control menstrual pain, enhance the quality of life, and make every effort to preserve the patient's ovarian reserve and fertility.
Early Pregnancy Assessment and Care (Threatened Miscarriage / Ectopic Pregnancy)
The first 12 weeks of pregnancy can be unpredictable. Experiencing emergency symptoms such as abnormal vaginal bleeding or severe lower abdominal pain—which may indicate a threatened miscarriage or suspected ectopic pregnancy—undoubtedly brings immense psychological distress. Our centre provides rapid and precise pelvic ultrasound assessments, alongside continuous blood hCG hormone testing to monitor the fetal condition closely. Approaching each case with profound empathy, we offer the most appropriate medical support. This may include prescribing progesterone to help support the pregnancy, or providing urgent medical or minimally invasive surgical intervention in the event of an ectopic pregnancy.
